U.S. Senators Call for Investigation into DoD Imports

 

WASHINGTON, D.C.-United States Senators have called for an investigation into the role of foreign imports in the U.S. defense industrial base. An amendment has been submitted requiring a report on the volume and function of imports in DoD procurement, as well as the impact of supply disruptions on U.S. military capacity and readiness.

Manufacturing Technology Consumption Falls in July

MCLEAN, VA-July U.S. manufacturing technology consumption totaled $303.44 million, according to AMTDA and AMT. This total was down 21.5% from June but up 5.7% from the total of $287.02 million reported for July 2007. FULL STORY>>
