SME Launches Publication Database

Dearborn, MI-Online access to what is being called the world's largest full-text database in manufacturing engineering is now available.

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers and ebrary, a provider of information distribution systems, teamed up to produce a database called SME Source that contains more than 4,000 individual book chapters, journal articles and technical papers.

It is anchored by the nine-volume Tool and Manufacturing Engineers Handbook series, and also includes SME produced books.

The database can be accessed at www.sme.org.
