Hyde Park Electronics LLC (Dayton, OH), a provider of ultrasonic sensing technology, has received Ohio's Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award.

Entela-Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI), a supplier of laboratory testing and engineering services, has expanded its vibration testing capability with the addition of a new 6,600 pounds of force (lbf.) shaker with 2-inch stroke.

Renishaw (Hoffman Estates, IL), a supplier of position-feedback systems, and RLS Merilna Tehnika d.o.o. (Ljubljana, Slovenia) have jointly developed a range of miniature magnetic rotary encoders. The frictionless, noncontact encoders are designed for high-speed rotary encoding applications such as motor control and general automation systems.

Hytec Inc. (Los Alamos, NM), specializing in equipment to test scientific instruments, has achieved ISO 9001: 2000 registration.

Feinfocus (Stamford, CT), a manufacturer of high-resolution X-ray inspection systems and tubes, announces its new partnership with Inimar, an electronics distribution company headquartered in Denmark. Inimar now represents the entire line of Feinfocus X-ray inspection systems in the Danish electronics assembly market.

Agilent Technologies Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) now offers ISO 17025 calibration services for complex electronic test instruments.

Sun-Tec Corp. (Novi, MI) has achieved accreditation to ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.

Torotel Products Inc., a subsidiary of Torotel Inc. (Kansas City, MO), a manufacturer of precision magnetic components primarily for the aerospace and defense industry, has achieved AS9100 registration.

Fredon Corp. (Mentor, OH) has received ISO 9001: 2000 and AS 9100A: 2001 certification. Fredon offers complete manufacturing solutions for precision machining and assembly needs.

Thunder Scientific Corp.'s (Albuquerque, NM) calibration laboratory has received accreditation from the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program.

Avalon Precision Casting Co. (Brook Park, OH) has received ISO 9001: 2000 accreditation.
