related technologies and tools for improving productivity and reducing costs during the June 9-10, 2004, exhibition and conference at the Novi Expo Center in Novi, MI.

On the exhibition floor, QED attendees will have hands-on access to the latest quality-related products and services for manufacturers, including CMMs, DMMs, software, gages, data collection, calibration equipment and automatic gaging.

Dale Earnhardt Inc.'s top engine development engineer, Charles Jenkes, will present the keynote address, "The Race for Quality Has No Finish Line-Quality and Applications in a NASCAR Nextel Cup Engine Shop," on Wednesday, June 9.

Panelists from the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), National Institute for Standards (NIST), Ford and Chrysler, will present "Global Harmonization Efforts to Achieve Metrology Interoperability," on Wednesday, June 9.

"Six Sigma in Automotive: Is it Enough?" and "New Trends in Dimensional Metrology" round out the free educational sessions.
