The Boeing Co. (Chicago) and TecSec Inc. (Vienna, VA) have formed a strategic relationship that includes a $10 million equity in-vestment by Boeing. TecSec will provide Constructive Key Management, a standards-based encryption technology that secures digital information at the object level. The technology also allows secure data to be shared among large groups of operators, each having different levels of access to the data.

George Muellner, president of Boeing's Phantom Works R&D unit says the application will be used in a variety of programs. "Information security is a must for workflow applications, digital rights management, communications and collaborative engineering programs."
