Applied Statistics to Acquire DataMyte

Applied Statistics Inc. (St. Paul, MN) has signed an agreement to acquire the DataMyte business of Rockwell Automation Inc. Applied Statistics is a developer of statistical process control software for the manufacturing industry. DataMyte manufactures data collection devices, quality control software, gage management software and precision measurement systems. The combined companies, to be known as ASI DataMyte Inc., will continue to support and develop both the Applied Statistics and DataMyte products. The deal is subject to approval by Applied Statistics shareholders.

"Applied Statistics and DataMyte are an excellent strategic match," says Frank Voigt, president of ASI Datamyte. "Both are based in the Twin Cities and complement each other well. The merged companies will benefit from Applied Statistics' strength in software development and DataMyte's large and successful direct sales force, significant international distribution and dominant position in the market for data collection hardware."

It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
