Mike Quinton has been appointed to quality process guardian for General Motors' Global Manufacturing System. In his new role, Quinton will lead the company's manufacturing quality initiatives. GM recently scored the biggest improvement of any automaker in the 2001 J.D. Power Initial Quality study.
