Dear Editor,

Let the Chinese make cheap, low-end goods? ("Can't Keep It All," Quality, November 2003, p. 6,) That wouldn't affect me directly, but what about my neighbor's kid? He just happens to be 19 and looking at losing his first job because they're shutting the U.S. facility. What's he supposed to do? I don't hold with "giving" the low end to them. Make it a fair fight, and let them "earn" it like we did.
