John D. Razzano was named as the 2001 chairman of the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA). Razzano, owner and president of Fulton Industries Inc. (Rochester, IN), presides over the organization's board of trustees, which is made up of representatives from each local NTMA chapter. He also heads the NTMA executive team, which is made up of three other elected members, the immediate past chairman of the board and the president. During his tenure, Razzano says he will spread the message, "The Management of Technology: Achieving Success in the 21st Century," which is centered on the idea that a world economy and the explosion of technological advances are forcing precision manufacturers to change the way they do business. He also will address the concept that precision custom manufacturers can achieve better, faster and cheaper production through the management of new technology without sacrificing business success.
