SAI Global Ltd. Makes Acquisition

MAUMEE, OH-SAI Global Limited acquires Easy i Holdings Ltd. (El Segundo, CA), a compliance training and awareness solutions company with operations in the United States and the United Kingdom. Easy i, which has several million users based in more than 100 countries, is in the high growth market for the delivery of standards and regulatory compliance solutions. According to Ross Wraight, chief executive officer at SAI Global Ltd., this transaction is part of a growth strategy for the company.

"Strategically, the transaction extends our portfolio of standards and compliance-based products and provides us with a tried and proven on-line training platform. It also offers a significant opportunity to grow our compliance-based business and develop a broader range of information-based compliance products including the financial advisors market," Wraight says.

"The deal will also assist with

the strategic development of Excel Partnership Inc., our professional services business in the United States, with the potential to use Easy i's intellectual property and on-line delivery platform to distribute and support Excel's traditional training and consulting products," adds David Middleton, president and chief executive officer of Excel Partnership Inc., part of the SAI Global Group.

Terry Hancock, Easy i's chief executive officer, will remain with the organization.

It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
