Infrared Solutions was founded in 1994 by a group of former Honeywell scientists and engineers who first developed infrared sensors for the U.S. military. Today, Infrared Solutions' technology is used for commercial and industrial applications. The company designs, manufactures and sells a broad range of thermal imaging products for applications across a number of channels including predictive and preventative maintenance.
Fluke is a manufacturer of compact, professional electronic test tools for installing and managing industrial electrical equipment and calibration processes for quality control. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2005, following satisfaction of closing conditions.
