MIAMI-Rudy Giuliani's speech, "The Best of Leadership at the 7th Annual Worst of Times," earned him a standing ovation from the packed audience at the 7th Annual Six Sigma Summit, January 23 to 26.

More than 40 top Six Sigma companies presented, including leaders from Caterpillar, Coca-Cola, Bank of America, Delphi Corp., Ingram Micro LA and DuPont. The speakers shared their Six Sigma insights, including an imaginative presentation by Don Linsenmann of DuPont that used Pictionary to discuss top-line growth. Whether attendees were Six Sigma novices or veterans, the conference provided sessions to improve their business practices. Topics ranged from the first 90 days of Six Sigma to regeneration of Six Sigma, allowing both beginners and master black belts to learn more. Each day of the conference offered four tracks catering to different Six Sigma attendees, along with workshops and networking opportunities.

Exhibitors, including Minitab, Pivotal Resources and Crystal Ball, showed attendees their latest products and offerings. The summit also included the 3rd Annual Six Sigma Excellence Awards.

The post conference study tour offered a visit to Motorola's iDEN Mobile Devices Group in Plantation, FL to see Six Sigma in action.
