CHANTILLY, VA-InfinityQS International, provider of statistical process control (SPC) software, has acquired DeSimone Engineering China, a Chinese-based consulting firm that specializes in quality and productivity improvement technologies for manufacturers. The company also has established a new data center in China as part of its ongoing effort to support companies with manufacturing operations or suppliers around the world.

The acquisition and data center will grow InfinityQS’ resources in China, allowing the software provider to better serve its clients with manufacturing operations in that region. During the past 15 years, DeSimone Engineering Co. has served clients in industries ranging from aerospace to food, drug and automotive.

The data center is currently supporting manufacturers in their use of eSPC-InfinityQS’ Web-based solution for enterprise and supply chain quality management that provides real-time quality monitoring and analysis tools for manufacturing processes. A virtual private network connects the Chinese and U.S. data centers, and the data is replicated in both locations for added security and reliability. This fully redundant network ensures that eSPC users will have immediate access to their quality data, and their suppliers’ data, whether they are located in China or the United States.
