MoreHANOVER, GERMANY-Parlec Inc., headquartered in Fairport, NY, and Mahr GmbH, headquartered in Göttingen, Germany, announce a bilateral partnership agreement to market and sell each other’s measurement tool and inspection products. Products covered under the agreement are Parlec’s P1500 and P2500 Presetters and Mahr’s MarVision Tool Inspector lines. Mahr will market and sell these goods in Europe under the name MarPreset. In turn, Parlec will incorporate Mahr tool measurement products into its product portfolio and market them in North America. In addition, the companies will cooperate on future technology development to expand each of their respective product offerings.
The shared product lines are expected to lead to additional collaborative efforts including cobranded products and technology-sharing initiatives. Mahr and Parlec have agreed to share technologies for the continued technical advancement of both companies’ current product lines, as well as for the development of entirely new solutions in tool and component measurement.
