Video Measuring System

The iNEXIV VMA-2520 is a multisensor video measuring system that is lightweight and compact enough to be used in the factory on a benchtop, with automatic features that make it suited for a variety of industrial measuring, inspection and quality control applications. The system measures 3-D workpieces, is touch-probe ready, integrates imaging processing software and incorporates a 10X optical zoom system and laser auto focus option. Its 200-millimeter Z-axis measuring range, together with an optical system featuring a 73.5-millimeter working distance, enables measurements of tall mechanical parts, plastic injection molded parts, electronics components and medical devices. With its included imaging processing software, 3-D objects can be documented and viewed in their relative 3-D form with precise proportionality when created with the extended depth-of-field software in which all Z-axis data stays in focus. The software also generates accurate 2-D stitched panoramic images captured with CNC XY stage precision, making super-wide field-of-view observation possible.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
