Portable Measuring Arm

The Infinite 5012 is a 4-foot portable version of the company’s flagship measuring arm line, intended for small jobs where light weight and a small footprint are required. Possible applications include benchtop measuring, CAD-compare or quick dimensional checks inside a machine tool and desktop engineering. With WIFI connectivity and onboard battery power, the arm delivers portability without cables. Instead of a counterbalance, as with the larger models, the arm features an integrated tungsten counterweight that delivers light-touch ergonomics and fluid motion. Automatic probe detection allows quick probe changes without recalibration. And the company’s patented infinite rotation means that an operator does not have to stop because he has reached the end of the arm’s travel. The arm is available with any of the company’s standard software packages.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
