Carbide Probes Achieves ISO 9000 Certification

DAYTON, OH, April 24-Carbide Probes Inc., manufacturer of replacement contact point/styli, has been awarded ISO 9000: 2001 certification. The company manufactures contact points for many indicators and coordinate measuring machines (CMM’s). The company has recently added replacement contracers and surface defect scribers to its inventory.

“We have received a tremendous response to our replacement Mitutoyo contracers,” says Rick Hudgell, director of marketing and operations. “Due to a lack of supply, our customers needed parts quickly. Our Lean operation processes enabled up to set up quickly and address their needs. Our ISO certification process was progressing during this and proved to be a tremendous asset by enabling us to maintain our supply chain and process flows without any major issues.”
