Plymouth, MN, May 22-ASI DataMyte Inc., provider of quality-related data collection, analysis and reporting solutions, and quality planning and control tools, has signed a distributor agreement with Marubeni Information Systems Co., Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan. Marubeni Systems provides solutions for design, development and manufacturing processes.

“As the current business environment changes at breakneck speed, the top priority for companies is to enhance their competitive edge through differentiation,” says Kiyoshi Yoshimitsu, representative president for Marubeni Information Systems. “Toward this end, companies must utilize IT to improve efficiency, enable state-of-the-art operations, and create new added value. As client companies make dramatic shifts in their operations, spurred on by their crisis awareness, solution vendors such as ourselves must shift at even greater speeds and continue to provide values that exceed our customers’ expectations.”

Distributing ASI DataMyte quality assembly, manufacturing and laboratory solutions in Marubeni’s home market of Japan fulfills a key directive enabling pursuit of market share, revenue and customer satisfaction objectives.

“We found that we have much in common with Marubeni-philosophically and strategically,” notes Gianni De Gaspari, director, international sales and marketing. “Our solutions mix, service disposition and consultative approach fit well with Marubeni’s momentum and goals. This is good chemistry.”
