VitalAire had been operating numerous databases and semi-automated processes for document management, training management and CAPA. It was seeking an integrated compliance and quality system allowing users to work collaboratively through seamlessly integrated systems in each area through one portal.
VitalAire recognized the need to acquire a collaborative tool that would not only offer document management controls, but also have native tools built in that would enhance communication and work flow.
VitalAire embarked on the quest to have multiple vendors conduct a Proof of Concept with its core team and scored each tool according to VitalAire’s business requirements. Pilgrim’s SmartSolve™ solution proved to be superior in the areas of strong regulatory and quality management functionality that was readily configurable rather than built from scratch.
Pilgrim’s SmartSolve solutions will be implemented at VitalAire’s Toronto-based headquarters and within 70 additional offices across Canada. VitalAire is a division of Air Liquide Healthcare/Sante International.
