Hebco Inc. Wins Lockheed Martin Star Supplier Award

OKLAHOMA CITY-Lockheed Martin Corp. has awarded Hebco Inc. the Lockheed Martin Corp. Star Supplier - Facility Award, recognizing Hebco as one of its top-performing suppliers. Lockheed Martin representatives presented the award to Hebco during a ceremony held on April 23 at Hebco’s Oklahoma City facility.

“We are proud to be a Lockheed Martin supplier and are honored to be recognized with the esteemed Star award,” said Bryan Billingsley, president of Hebco Inc. “This award is a result of the hard-work, dedication, and consistent commitment to excellence of our outstanding employees.”

The prestigious award is made only to Lockheed Martin suppliers who distinguish themselves by meeting some of the most stringent performance criteria in the Aerospace Industry. To join this elite group of Star Suppliers, Hebco achieved 100% quality and 100% delivery for all products provided to Lockheed Martin for a minimum of one year. Additionally, Hebco met the established criteria for Lockheed Martin's Supplier Performance Evaluation metric that evaluates quality, delivery, affordability and management/administration.

Lockheed Martin uses the Supplier Performance Evaluation metric across the Corporation to assess suppliers' performance in the three evaluation categories. Suppliers can achieve Star recognition on three levels: 1) Distributor; 2) Production; and 3) Subcontractor Services.

Lockheed Martin Star Suppliers are provided visibility across Lockheed Martin Corp. This results in increased opportunity for more business amongst each individual site. Lockheed Martin and its customers likewise share benefits in higher supplier product quality, improved delivery performance, and associated cost savings.
