The Chatillon TCD225 Series is a force testing system that can be set up quickly to perform a variety of tests. The system allows operators to perform simple or multivariable testing without relying on a PC or complex software. It has a closed-loop motion control system and a load sensing system with measuring accuracies greater than 0.1% full scale. The console has a five- by eight-inch screen, and menus and prompts are used during setup to assist the operator. Data is displayed in tabular and graphical formats. The frame operates from 0.001 to 50 inches per minute and employs a closed-loop PID controller for precision travel.
