ORLANDO, FL-The 2009 Quality Measurement Conference, to be held at the Caribe Royale Orlando, May 4 to 7, 2009, in Orlando, FL, is now accepting abstracts for presentations. Please provide a 150- to 200-word abstract by November 14, 2008.

This year’s conference focuses on measurement issues and measurement in manufacturing environments. The program is a two-day workshop featuring 50-minute paper presentations. In addition, equipment suppliers will present and showcase products and services through tabletop exhibits. The conference seeks presentations and hands-on professional learning workshops about technology advancements, application case studies and operational management concepts related to the following:
  • Inline measurement/inspection
  • On-machine measurement
  • Cost savings through measurement
  • Thread gaging
  • Scrap reduction
  • ROI on measurement investments
  • Facility setup
  • CMMs
  • Measurement “physics” and fundamentals

After abstracts are reviewed, presentations for distribution to all registered attendees must be submitted. Papers should reflect the highest professional standard. The use of trade names and company advertising is prohibited. No sales presentations are permitted. When submitting, Microsoft Word is required for electronic format, and PowerPoint for presentations. Authors of chosen papers will be asked to present in person at the conference.
