DGI Supply Acquires Tool Crib Supply

WHEELING, IL-Industrial distribution company DGI Supply, a DoALL company, has signed an affiliation agreement with Tool Crib Supply, also an industrial distribution company, of Bensenville, IL. This agreement allows DGI Supply to hire all Tool Crib Supply employees and take over its predominately metalworking customer base. The agreement is part of a packaged deal with Stamm Tool of Rockford, IL. In 2008, Tool Crib and Stamm’s combined revenues were more than $14 million.

“Tool Crib Supply employees exemplify the principal objective in our business, a dedication to achieve cost savings for customers,” says Bill Henricks, chief operating officer for DoALL. “Their technical sales force and value added services are the perfect strategic fit for DGI Supply.”

DGI Supply plans to combine Tool Crib Supply’s inventory with its own and move its order fulfillment from Bensenville, IL, to Wheeling, IL. “The combined inventory will improve service levels and with DGI’s automated warehousing systems improve efficiency while reducing errors,” says Henrick. “With the Tool Crib account managers providing the same high level of technical support, and now offering better service and logistics, this move is a slam dunk for Tool Crib Customers.”
