NATICK, MA-Cognex Corp., supplier of machine vision systems and industrial ID readers, has announced a new series of free seminars for manufacturing professionals. The half-day events will show how to set up and deploy vision and ID systems for automated inspection and quality control tasks in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, medical, automotive, and electronics industries.

Each seminar combines an overview and demonstration of Cognex machine vision and industrial ID products, including how Cognex products work in manufacturing applications to accurately gage, guide, identify and inspect products in order to reduce production costs and achieve a high level of product quality.

In addition to walking away with an understanding of the fundamentals of implementing a successful vision and/or ID reader solution, participants will learn how machine vision has been transformed into a much more affordable and accessible solution.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a product sample, and discuss their application with a Cognex engineer.
