GREENSBORO, NC and LUMMEN, BELGIUM-Sensory Analytics, a manufacturer of noncontact coating and film thickness measurement systems, has expanded its technical sales and support capabilities for the SpecMetrix coating thickness measurement system into Europe through an agreement with Lummen, Belgium-based AeroTecs NV, a technical representative and distribution company serving the European market.

Under terms of the new agreement, AeroTecs has become the first European partner approved by Sensory for technical sales, support and certified repair of its complete line of SpecMetrix coating and film thickness measurement systems. SpecMetrix systems provide manufacturers of coated metal containers, coils, sheet stock and packaging films with a means to measure coating thickness.

The systems are available as manual and semi-automated lab units for QA and R&D use, as well as inline coating measurement systems for the real-time measurement of wet or dry coatings during the manufacturing process.

“Our new partners at AeroTecs are well positioned to help us meet the fast-growing global demand for our expanding line of SpecMetrix coating measurement systems,” says Greg Frisby, chief executive officer of sensory analytics LLC
