Multi-Scale Durometer Test

The Multi-Scale durometer test kit is for performing hardness tests on various types of nonmetallic materials. The base kit consists of a type A durometer and a choice of one of more color-coded barrel adapters for D, B, C, DO, O, OO or OOO scales. Scales are changed by unscrewing one barrel and replacing it with another-no supplementary calibration or adjustments are necessary. A test block, calibrated to the selected scale, also is included. The block allows operators to perform quick functional checks on the instrument. The indicator and barrels are calibrated to the ASTM-D2240 standard for durometer hardness testers.
