HOUSTON-Rental instrumentation specialists Ashtead Technology has announced the opening of a new Indianapolis office to further enhance the level of service to its customers across Indiana and Michigan. Ashtead Technology specializes in the supply of industrial rental equipment, including remote visual inspection as well as other nondestructive testing technologies.

In addition to offering a complete rental solution, the Indianapolis office will provide a full range of calibration and repair services and a range of consumable products, supporting the local environmental monitoring, nondestructive testing and remote visual inspection markets.

“The new Indianapolis office will be manned by a team of highly skilled technicians and offer many major benefits to both existing and new Ashtead Technology customers by delivering an exceptional level of service combined with quality rental equipment adhering to the same ISO 9001 standards to which all of our existing offices operate,” says Office Manager Dave Burnett. “The opening represents further investment in the company and a deepened commitment to our customers.”

Ashtead expects that the rental of environmental monitoring instrumentation will account for more than half of the total branch sales due to the large number of environmental consultancy firms within the area. However, nondestructive testing and remote visual inspection instrumentation also is expected to be in high demand.

The new office is set to open on Monday August 17, 2009.
