BEIJING - At the 2010 Beijing Auto Show, nearly 2,100 companies from 16 countries and regions will exhibit, utilizing exhibition area of about 200,000 square meters.

“The ups and downs of the auto industry may have stalled the rapid rise of the Chinese auto market, but that hasn't kept the 2010 Beijing Auto Show from securing some top-notch car debuts this year,” says Edmund's InsideLine.com Editor In Chief Scott Oldham. “The Beijing show is an important stop for any automaker looking to make inroads to the significant Chinese market – and that is essentially all of the automakers.”

Some of the most exciting introductions will come from luxury brands, including new long-wheelbase sedans from Audi and BMW, an all-new high-powered Ferrari 599 GTO and a V6-powered Porsche Panamera. Lamborghini is also showing a special model just for the Chinese market, while Ford is gearing up to unveil an all-new global concept that could be sold in China, Europe or the U.S. China’s numerous home-market brands like BYD, Chery and Geely will also display their latest new models for an international audience.
