(API) , an advanced measurement solutions company, and MTorres, a worldwide industrial group of companies that manufactures systems for industrial processes automation, have signed an OEM contract on volumetric compensation of machine tools.
MTorres will use API ́s VEC solution, a calibration method that allows manufacturers to improve production accuracy and maintain the tightest tolerances of MTorres' high-end five-and-six-axis machine tools.
MTorres is one of the main suppliers of machine tools to customers that include Airbus, Boeing, Eurocopter, Northrop Grumman, EADS and Bombardier Aerospace.
