MoreSAUDI ARABIA-Intertek International Limited (Intertek) has signed a conformity assessment agreement with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) to provide conformity assessment services for the import of cosmetic products into Saudi Arabia, based on the SFDA’s newly reformed standards.
The contract confirms Intertek as an authorized provider of certificates of conformity for cosmetic products, which are required by the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) for customs clearance of a shipment. Intertek has been providing inspection services for cosmetics products in the Kingdom since 1998 and has provided more than 85,000 certificates of conformity to date.
