Spartan Chassis Recognizes Supplier Performance Excellence

CHARLOTTE, MI- Spartan Chassis Inc., a subsidiary of Spartan Motors Inc., announced its Supplier Performance Action Review Committee (SPARC) recently recognized five top-performing suppliers during the 9th Annual Supplier Conference held at the company's headquarters in Charlotte, MI. The suppliers honored consistently embody Spartan's values and maintain an unwavering commitment to quality, on-time delivery and excellent customer support.

"Spartan Chassis is committed to achieving category-leading customer satisfaction and the highest levels of customer service," said Jeremy Wilson, Vice President of Supply Chain Management. "Our suppliers play a critical role in providing innovative, high quality products and services that are delivered on time to support our daily operations."

The companies that exceeded the standards of excellence at Spartan Chassis in 2010 are:

  • Allison Transmission of Indianapolis, IN

  • Formed Solutions, Inc. of Holland, MI

  • Harris Battery Company, Inc. of Bolivar, OH

  • JWB Components of Kentwood, IN

  • Titan Wheel Corporation of Chicago, IL

    The 300 suppliers to Spartan Chassis are continually evaluated to ensure adherence to the company's ever increasing requirements. Suppliers that consistently exceed the performance criteria have the opportunity to increased business levels.
