STATE COLLEGE, PA- Minitab, a provider of software for quality improvement, is the platinum sponsor of the ASQ 2011 World Conference on Quality and Improvement, May 15-18, 2011, in Pittsburgh.

The conference is expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees from around the world. Sponsoring the conference is a good fit for Minitab, which makes the statistical software thousands of companies use to analyze data for quality improvement programs.

“The ASQ World Conference provides the unique opportunity to see what practitioners are doing to improve quality across a multitude of industries,” says Michelle Paret, Minitab product marketing manager. “At Minitab, we are dedicated to helping quality improvement professionals succeed, and so we’re very proud to sponsor this event.”

This year’s event seeks to re-examine the role quality can play in the face of today’s challenges. More than 100 sessions will cover topics critical to a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, government, financial services and many more.

Minitab representatives will be on hand throughout the ASQ World Conference, starting with the opening reception May 15, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the exhibit hall. Attendees are invited to stop at the Minitab booth (#607) to learn more about the company’s products and services, which also include training, statistical mentoring and free technical support.
