SPC Unleashed
Calipers, gages and the like can be used to measure a dimension. Statistical process control (SPC) techniques provide the tools to measure the performance of an operation and express it in numbers. By looking at the numbers, quality engineers can determine whether the operation is running smoothly or whether it needs to be adjusted.

3D True Position
Prolink continues to provide simple SPC software solutions that give you a return on your investment within minutes of installation. The latest offering, the Enterprise Report Scheduler 3.3, allows you to seamlessly integrate the data you have been collecting in QC-CALC across multiple parts or plants. Easily filter and chart the data in just about any way you can imagine. Click on elements of the chart to drill down or create customizable dashboards for overhead displays. View your data in 3D using our “first-in-the-industry” 3D True Position chart or our Grouped Histogram. It’s all at your fingertips and builds on our industry leading data collection software, QC-CALC Real-Time. Call today for an online demo!

SPC Advances Improve Manufacturing
Statistical process control (SPC) methods have been applied in manufacturing process control since the early 1930s. Over the decades, countless hours were expended plotting charts with pencils on graph paper. Then computers arrived and, like the calculator did for the schoolboy, freed the engineer to spend time analyzing the process instead of focusing on the formulae.

Shewhart and the Modern Shop Floor
InfinityQS allows manufacturers to take the lessons of Shewhart and apply them to the modern shop floor. Since 1989, the leading SPC software platform, ProFicient, has delivered valuable real-time process data analysis that saves manufacturers millions of dollars every year.

In recent years, InfinityQS has been an innovator in the cloud computing space by expanding the full functionality of ProFicient to an On Demand, Software as a Service (SaaS) format. This technology provides more versatility with SPC deployments and gives users access to SPC data from any workstation or mobile device.

InfinityQS’ goal is to improve clients' internal quality standards and ensure their continued success in the global marketplace. For more information on InfinityQS, visit the company's website at or call 1.800.772.7978.

This division, which makes blades for power saws and other tools at its Tampa, FL, plant, no longer relies on inspectors to check each blade before it is shipped. Instead, production workers must ensure that all blades meet corporate quality standards before they leave the production line. READ MORE
