The European Commission has published a call for proposals from the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP).

The call will provide funding for joint research projects (JRPs) and researcher grants in the following areas:

  • Metrology for Industry;
  • SI Broader Scope; and
  • Open Excellence.

    The European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) is a metrology-focused European program of coordinated research and development that facilitates closer integration of national research programs. It is jointly supported by the European Commission and the participating countries within the European Association of National Metrology Institutes.

    The call encompasses a two-stage process for joint research projects and includes opportunities for researcher grants.

    Stage one of the call is for potential research topics and is open to any interested party, and opens Feb 2.

    Stage two of the call is for joint research projects and associated researcher grants and is subject to eligibility criteria. It opens on June 18.
