Hexagon Metrology Reports High Demand for New Line of Brown & Sharpe CMMs

North KINGSTWOWN, RI-Hexagon Metrology today announced the launch of the Brown & Sharpe 4.5.4 SF has surpassed all expectations. Within three weeks of its debut, more than 200 units have been ordered. Prior to the SF series release, production capabilities in the North Kingstown, RI factory were ramped up to accommodate the expected increase in demand, with lead times for deliveries holding firm at four to six weeks despite the backlog. This latest generation of shop floor coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) was designed from the ground up based on customer requirements.
