SINGAPORE-The Boeing Co. has recognized Pratt & Whitney as a 2011 Boeing Performance Excellence Award winner. Boeing issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Pratt & Whitney maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2010 to Sept. 30, 2011. This is the second consecutive year that Pratt & Whitney has received the honor. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. company.

Pratt & Whitney Military Engines supplies F117-PW-100 engines to Boeing for the C-17 Globemaster III and F100 engines for the F-15 Eagle fighters and PW4062 engines for the KC-46 Tanker.
