Acumentrics Names Mark Bertolami to Board of Directors

WESTWOOD, MA– Acumentrics RUPS, has appointed Mark Bertolami to the company’s Board of Directors. Bertolami is a global senior operating executive with more than 25 years of experience in the portable power industry with Duracell’s battery business.

Most recently, Bertolami served as president of Procter & Gamble’s Duracell global business unit, a position in which he held full responsibility for the $2.5-billion global Duracell franchise. He has also served as chairman of the board of China Battery Holdings, a majority-owned joint venture.

Throughout the course of his career, Bertolami has served in a variety of roles including: general management, marketing, sales, strategy, business development and operations. He currently serves on advisory boards for Lilliputian Systems, OwnerIQ, and OCOOS.

Bertolami holds a bachelor’s of science degree. from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
