Gleason Corp. Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Suzhou, China

ROCHESTER, NY– Gleason Corp. announces the grand opening and dedication of a new manufacturing facility in Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province, China.

The new facility is home to the Company’s Gleason Gear Technology (Suzhou), Co. (GGTS) operation, which was established in 2007. The new factory brings together under one roof the company’s machine and cutting tool production, which were formerly located in separate facilities in the Suzhou Industrial Park. The new factory is a LEED-qualified 156,000 square foot facility, climate-controlled for high-precision manufacturing. GGTS produces Gleason’s highly successful line of Genesis gear hobbing machines for the China market, and also produces a large line of gear cutting tools, including hobs, shaper cutters and bevel gear cutting tools. Gleason expects additional products and services will be added over time as market needs and opportunities present themselves.

“We are proud and excited to open this state-of-the-art facility expanding our already growing presence in China,” says John J. Perrotti, president and CEO of Gleason Corp. "This investment in our new facility along with the continued expansion of our technical staff in China is a strong statement about our long-term commitment to this important market."

It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
