SINSHEIM, GERMANY-Control, the international trade fair for quality assurance, now in its 21st year of existence, still remains true to the principles of total practice orientation and marketability. The same can be said for the highly satisfied exhibitors of past trade fairs, given that shortly after the jubilee Control fair in the spring of 2006, more than 80% of veteran exhibitors applied again for the next event May 8 to 11. The reason is that for the globalization of production of many products coincides with the global trend of customers and operators demanding ever-higher quality.

According to the exhibitor survey from the 20th Control show, they intend to present their products and services yet again in 2007 to a global audience. According to Gitta Schlaak, long-standing project manager of the Control trade fairs, the huge interest and exhibitor registrations from abroad are noteworthy as these are further testimony to the importance and top-ranking of Control in the sector. “We can tell already today that we shall require the entire available hall space of around 45,000-square-meters for the 21st Control, and appropriate planning measures are already under way,” says Schlaak.
