BIB-150P UV lamp from Spectronics Corp.
The BIB-150P UV lamp has been improved by replacing the metal housing with one made from an engineering polymer that is dent proof and impact resistant. In addition, a 150-watt bulb eliminates the need for a heavy, bulky external transformer. The total weight of the lamp is 3¼ pounds. It has a contoured handle that stays cool and is ergonomically designed for better balance. An improved, crack-resistant filter reduces visible light (less than 2 foot-candles, or 20 lux) while maximizing long-wave UV irradiance. A heat guard/stand protects the operator against burns and also serves as a lamp stand. The three-wire power cord is made of heat-resistant material and reduces the risk of shock hazard.
