New Non-Executive Director for Ashtead Technology

ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND – Ashtead Technology is pleased to announce that Derek Shepherd has joined the board as a non-executive director. Under Derek’s leadership, its revenues have grown from £35m to £500m.

Brian Long, chairman of Ashtead Technology, says, “Derek Shepherd’s appointment to our board is marvellous news for the company. Derek Shepherd adds, "I am delighted to be invited to join the board of Ashtead Technology and to be working with the team to help them achieve their global ambitions"

This appointment forms the latest addition to the board since Ashtead Technology was acquired in June 2008 by Phoenix Equity Partners in a £95.6m MBO.
