CARDIFF, UNITED KINGDOM - The South West School of NDT has introduced a new training and examination package for Level 2 PCN Welding Inspectors which allows qualifying candidates to sit the training course and examination in five days.

This highly interactive training course covers the syllabus laid down by PCN for welding inspection and combines both theory and practical, with a particular emphasis on the practicalities of welding inspection.

The new course is the result of a partnership between The South West School of NDT and Weld Class Solutions. The course is delivered by Mark Cozens, who has more than 35 years' experience in welding technology, with more than 20 years' experience in welding inspection, training and examinations.

During his long career, Mark gained considerable hands-on industrial experience in the training and examination of welding inspectors across many industrial sectors, including shipbuilding, aerospace and the oil & gas industry.

A determination to raise qualification standards while driving down the associated costs in welding inspection has led to The South West School of NDT and Weld Class Solutions to limit the class sizes for the new course to 12.

To introduce the new PCN Welding Inspection L2 package, delegates who book a month in advance will be presented with a complimentary high quality stainless steel weld gage.

The South West School of NDT also provides a full range of NDT and welding inspection training and examinations. For course dates or additional information, contact The South West School of NDT by email at[email protected] or visitwww.swsndt.co.uk.
