With the industrial training side of its operations growing at a rapid pace, the Cardiff-based South West School of NDT has announced that Meurig Davies, known to many in the industry, has joined the training team.

Davies has spent his career so far at the cutting edge of UT methods, specialising in TOFD and phased array inspections for a wide variety of industries, including senior roles in offshore NDT, power generation and advanced technique development. To the delight of the SWS, Meurig is now turning his talents to training. He specialises in industrial NDT applications, and has considerable field experience in UT, MT, LT, TOFD, PA, ACFM and RT.
