UV Lamp

The Maxima ML-3500 Series ultraviolet lamps use micro discharge light (MDL) technology and a filter and bulb/reflector to deliver up to 10 times the UV-A output of conventional HID inspection lamps.

The lamps enable the operator to see small surface defects, hydrocarbon contamination and other flaws. The ML-3500S model has a spot bulb and a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of 50,000 microwatts per centimeter squared. The ML-3500D spot with diffusing filter has a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of 14,000 microwatts per centimeter squared at 15 inches. The ML-3500FL’s flood bulb delivers a nominal steady-state intensity of 4,500 microwatts per centimeter squared at 15 inches.
