BINDT Signs Agreement with Jubail Industrial College

Dr Mosleh Al-Otaibi, managing director of Jubail Industrial College (JIC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and John Thompson, director of international affairs at the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the JIC in Jubail Industrial City.

In this agreement, the NDT Training Center (NDTTC) at JIC will be the first organization in the Middle East, and will be the only one in the Kingdom, as an Accredited NDT Training Organization (ATO). NDTTC will be established to be an Authorised Qualifying Body (AQB) to conduct Personnel Certification of NDT (PCN) examinations in Level I and Level II for conventional and advanced NDT methods. Being able to qualify and certify NDT personnel using BINDT PCN will give privileges for the certificate holder to work anywhere in the world and be recognized internationally.
