BOSTON - MVTec LLC, held a North American distributor training in Boston last month for the new version of its machine vision software Halcon 9.0, which has been available since January 2009.
Fourteen distribution engineers from North America took part in this event. Topics of this focused training in the comprehensive innovations of Halcon 9.0 were considerable speedups especially for Halcon’s automatic operator parallelization, unique new matching technologies for perspective distortions, further novelties for 3-D vision, the processing of extremely large images of more than 32k x 32k pixels, and enhanced usability.
MVTec cooperates with distribution companies that represent machine vision at the highest stage in their particular country. Halcon is steadily evolved by MVTec and employed by the industry in challenging machine vision applications.
