VeriSens smart vision sensors are equipped with IP69K-rated stainless steel housings, shatterproof glass, and connectors and seals that protect the devices from damage during high-temperature/pressure wash downs. The sensors are suited for discrete automation applications in industries including medical, food/beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic processing. Using contour-based algorithms, the sensors provide stable and reliable edges.
The FEX processor used to calculate edges eliminates data detection problems associated with changes in environmental conditions such as lighting or shadows. The devices contain 656 by 494 pixel charge-coupled device (CCD) image sensors.
