Basler Expands Management Board

AHRENSBURG-The supervisory board of Basler AG has appointed Arndt Bake (43) to the Management Board. Effective January 1, 2011 Bake will complement Chief Executive Officer Dr. Dietmar Ley and Chief Commercial Officer John P. Jennings. As Chief Operations Officer (COO) Bake will be responsible for product management, production and supply chain management.

Arndt Bake has a master degree in electronics engineering and an MBA degree. In his former business career he worked in different marketing functions. After joining Basler in 2001, Bake took responsibility for the marketing of the digital cameras business segment (Components). From 2004 to mid of 2009 he lead the Components business segment. Since then Arndt Bake oversees the entire operational business of Basler AG.

Norbert Basler, founder and supervisory board chairman of Basler AG explains: „By promoting Arndt Bake to the Management Board we highly appreciate his substantial contribution to the very successful development of our camera business during the past 10 years. The supervisory board is convinced that this well-attuned management board will successfully execute our camera-focused corporate strategy and harvest Basler AGs huge growth potential in current and future markets."

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008
