Cooper Vision Technologies Expands Distribution Agreement with AVT

Cooper Vision Technologies (Ottawa, ON, Canada) announced the expansion of its existing distribution agreement with Allied Vision Technologies (AVT; Newburyport, MA). Cooper Vision Technologies has been selling the AVT FireWire cameras since August 2008 into the Canadian market.

As a result of the acquisition of Prosilica by Allied Vision Technologies in July 2008, Cooper Vision Technologies now offers the complete range from the premier manufacturer of digital cameras, including both AVT FireWire and AVT GigE Vision cameras.

“We are excited and very pleased to partner with AVT, the leading camera manufacturer supplying both GigE Vision compliant and FireWire digital cameras," said Kevin Cooper, President, Cooper Vision Technologies. "The launch of several new camera families adding to their already large base of existing families, combined with the flexibility of the AVT Modular design concept, results in customers having access to an unsurpassed selection of FireWire and GigE cameras.”

“After working with Cooper Vision Technologies for several years and seeing their potential it was a natural choice for Allied Vision Technologies to increase their role. We highly value the experience, expertise and professionalism that Cooper Vision Technologies brings to our partnership and look forward to continued growth together.” said Mike Troiano, National Sales Manager, Allied Vision Technologies.

It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
