West Penn Testing Makes Oscar Lewis Director of Quality

NEW KENSINGTON, PA- West Penn Testing Group , a provider of non-destructive testing and material testing services, has hired Oscar Lewis as director of quality.

“Oscar’s Level III credentials, 20 years of NDT experience and four years as a quality engineer for a medical device OEM make him ideally qualified to provide top-notch service to our medical-industry customers,” says James C. DeChellis, West Penn’s president/COO.

Lewis is no stranger to West Penn. In his previous employment with a joint-replacement implant manufacturer, he regularly audited West Penn’s testing capabilities.

West Penn inspects the full spectrum of titanium, stainless-steel, cobalt-chrome and nickel-based-superalloy grades specified for medical applications. The company also tests medical-grade polymers.
